Introduction

An essential feature of any successful community is the faith that the collaborative exploration of diverse perspectives leads to maximal solutions to shared challenges.   We rely on representatives to speak on the community’s behalf, for example, and to make decisions that respect the beliefs and preferences of ALL those they represent.   However, with multitudes to represent, arrays of dauntingly complex issues, and wide diversities of perspectives; it is extremely difficult for leaders to really understand the most pressing concerns and priorities of those they serve.

Today’s social media platforms exacerbate these issues, enabling immense numbers of people to speak and express their opinions, but they do nothing to invite listening, let alone help people understand each other.

The VoxCivita Foundation provides the technologies, methodologies, and curricula that organizations use to engage their communities in truly informative and constructive conversations.   Our tools and services bridge the gap between the felt challenges of individuals, and clear group statements of preferences and priorities.

The Work We Do

In concert with technology trailblazers; professional community facilitators; and experts in data mining, quantitative analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence; the VoxCivita Foundation develops, promotes, and continually enhances repeatable community engagement methodologies with scalable technologies and comprehensive curricula to improve and enrich collective listening and understanding.

VoxCivita’s platform and services enable organizations to better hear the diverse perspectives of their communities which improves collaborative problem-solving.   Collaboration empowers successful management and democratic practices which strengthens the communities these organizations serve.

About Us

The VoxCivita Foundation was established in October 2017 as a California not-for-profit corporation dedicated to the public benefit.   Presently, the foundation receives technical and financial support from a number of progressive corporations and partner foundations while waiting the determination of federal income tax exemption under IRC 501(c)3.   VoxCivita will accept public donations upon determination of its tax exempt status by the IRS, which is expected by mid-year 2018.

VoxCivita is led by its Board of Directors and governed by its publicly available Bylaws.
